Kyle Walker 2

Tottenham Hotspur's Kyle Walker has revealed how he will be spending Sunday...watching his former club Sheffield United in their biggest match for years.

Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker has a big few weeks ahead of him.  The 23-year-old had been an almost ever-present for Spurs until a pelvic injury struck, leading to absence from the team and a reported course of pain-killing injections as he hopes to keep his World Cup dream alive.

Spurs face Sunderland this evening having seen Everton beat Arsenal on Sunday, leaving Spurs seven points off a Europa League spot with just six games to play. They then head to West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, and while Walker may not yet know if he will feature in that game, he does know what he will be doing 24 hours later.

Walker took to Instagram on Monday afternoon to post a picture of a ticket to the FA Cup semi-final between Sheffield United and Hull City.

'Tickets have arrived,' Walker wrote, which suggests he will be heading to Wembley to support his former side next weekend.

Walker is Sheffield born and began his professional career at the Blades, only to leave for White Hart Lane soon after. But it is clear he has not forgotten his roots, and he will no doubt be hoping the League One side can cause another upset and make it all the way to the final.

And if they get there and face Arsenal, expect Walker to be cheering with both his United and his Spurs hats on.

Do you think Kyle Walker will make it to the World Cup?
