A group of Arsenal fans are said to be planning a protest against majority shareholder Stan Kroenke and the overall running of the club this weekend.

Arsenal take on West Brom this Sunday and will be against the three per cent increase in ticket prices and just how much input Kroenke is having at the club.

Here is a snippet of the statement made by the fans behind the protest:

“Despite Premier League clubs receiving extra TV revenue of up to 70%, Stan Kroenke has decided to continue to hit the fans with the highest ticket prices in world football. It's believed that Arsenal have a cash surplus of £100million. If anything, prices should be going down - not up…”

Lars Bender rumours are gathering momentum - as they are once again being touted with an interest in the player.

Today it is The Mirror who are reporting the interest in the German international - believed to be valued at around £20 million.

He only signed a new contract at the club last year but is said to be considering his options in the wake of Sami Hyppia’s sacking.

Arsenal are being linked with Zakkaria Bakkali again today. The PSV Eindhoven Belgian international has been linked with Arsenal as well as Liverpool and Real Madrid recently - after refusing to sign a new deal at the Phillips Stadion.

Arsenal are chasing Polish youngster Dawid Kownacki. The Lech Poznan midfielder is just 17-years-old but is considered one of the top talents in Poland.

Arsenal do however have plenty of competition for his signature.

Lothar Matthaus has insured Arsenal that Josip Drmic will play for the club - in rather strange circumstances.

He previously stated that the Swiss striker’s wife had been looking around London at apartments - but Drmic then said he did not even have a girlfriend.

But Matthaus says:

“Although now Dortmund, Gladbach and Leverkusen all have an interest. I’m saying: Josip Drmic will switch to Arsenal. I made a mistake. I said his wife was already looking for apartments. The fact is that this is his girlfriend. Drmic has had a girlfriend for nine months. She has lived five or six months with him in Nuremberg. Look, if a journalist hears something, he researched and wrote that then its true. I’m kind of a journalist and have heard the rumour of a move to Arsenal. I then found out that this is true.”

Should Arsenal sign Drmic?
