Arsenal’s Premier League fixture away at Norwich City tomorrow is arguably one of the biggest of the season on a personal scale for the players.
With the FA Cup final against Hull City next Saturday, a good performance at Norwich City could be enough to guarantee the Arsenal players of a starting spot at Wembley.
One man in particular who is keen to impress the Gunners boss is German international Lukas Podolski.
The 28-year-old former Bayern Munich star has been one of Arsenal’s most effective players this season, despite only starting 13 Premier League matches. In the league, he has netted eight goals and provided a further two assists – contributing to a goal roughly every 117 minutes.
He has been a massive reason behind Arsenal’s recent run of good form and qualification for next season’s Champions League, staring the last four matches and contributing with four goals.
Ahead of tomorrow’s match in Arsenal’s final training session, Lukas Podolski was snapped alongside Arsene Wenger looking fully focused for the challenges ahead.
He posted a simple on message on Instagram saying: “With the boss at training today. Last practice before tomorrow’s game in Norwich.”
Does Lukas Podolski deserve to start the FA Cup final?
