Deutsche Bank - Foyer Bridge

Deutsche Bank has named Alastair Blackman from Credit Suisse as Managing Director and head of the media industry division in investment banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Bloomberg News reports that Blackman, who spent nine years at Credit Suisse, most recently in a similar position to the one he will assume at Deutsche Bank, joins in August, according to an internal memo whose contents were confirmed by a spokeswoman in London.

In the meantime, Bloomberg also reports that Morgan Stanley named Eric Benedict to lead the brokerage business that caters to the firm’s wealthiest clients.

Benedict will oversee the U.S. private wealth-management unit, filling a role held by Doug Ketterer, who was named to head strategy and client management earlier this year, according to an internal memo today. Vince Lumia will replace Benedict as head of capital markets for the brokerage, according to a separate memo.
