Arsenal's long wait for silverware came to an end yesterday, as Aaron Ramsey scored a wonderful goal in extra time against Hull City. It was nine years since Arsenal last won a major trophy, that was also the FA Cup after beating Manchester United in 2005. Now it is one day.
The Gunners were however receiving plenty of criticism earlier in the weekend, as many felt the local council's decision to announce potential road closures on Sunday before the game was perhaps, slightly premature.
But that is how it has turned out, and they have been on the parade today.
Thousands of people lined the streets of London to celebrate with the Arsenal players, some of whom were less than fresh after what must have been a hell of a party yesterday evening.
Arsenal had a camera down there and of course you can always rely on The Gunners lads to take plenty of selfies.
So here are some pictures from today's open top bus parade, as Arsenal celebrate closing the lid on a rough part of their history and signify the beginning of a new chapter.

Is this the start of a new era for Arsenal?
