Long-standing Batman voice artist Kevin Conroy mentions January release for the delayed next gen Batman game
In an interview with Groovey.TV Kevin Conroy, the voice behind Bats in the Arkham games has revealed Batman: Arkham Knight will be with us in January 2015. The much anticipated entry in the Arkham series was originally due for release in January this year but has fallen foul of a number of delays since.
Conroy let the alleged Batman release date slip at the Denver Comic-con which got spotted and posted on NeoGAF. In response to a question about what he was currently working on Conroy said,
“I have a massive game you may have heard of called Arkham Knight... It was supposed to come out in January, we’ve been working on it for a year and a half, it’s still not done. So it’s going to come out next January, but I know everyone is frustrated,” adding, “The reason it’s been delayed is because it’s so awesome.”
You can see Conroy spill the beans around the five minute mark in the video below.
If any official announcements should follow Conroy’s remarks we’ll keep you updated.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be a new gen only title for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
