It has been known for some time, but Arsenal have now confirmed that Wellington Silva will spend next season on loan at Spanish side Almeria.

It will be the Brazilian forward’s fifth loan spell since he moved to the Gunners for a reported £3.5million from Fluminense.

On the club’s official website, Arsenal wished the 21-year-old the best of luck for the upcoming campaign.

In other news, Talk Sport runs a profile on Brazilian defender Rodrigo Caio, who is said to be attracting interest from the North London club, as well as from Barcelona.

Ciao is a 20-year-old centre-back who currently plays for Sao Paulo. He can also operate as a defensive midfielder when required, which could appeal to Arsene Wenger if the links to Arsenal are true.

And finally, Goal reports that David Ospina could be an Arsenal player in the next 72 hours.

They report that the Colombian goalkeeper could undergo a medical in the next three days before possibly linking up with the squad for their pre-season tour.

A £3million transfer fee has already reportedly been agreed with Ospina’s current club Nice.

Do you think Ospina would be a good signing for Arsenal?
