Manchester United fans react on Twitter to Patrice Evra exit

Evra And Fellaini

Patrice Evra left Manchester United for Juventus on Monday, so what did fans of his now-former club have to say?

The rumours had been circulating for some time, but yesterday it was confirmed that Patrice Evra was swapping Manchester United for Juventus.

The French international had been a wonderful servant at Old Trafford, making 379 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing 40 assists.

But it was his all-round play and passion for both the game and the club that shone through.  And while many questioned his effectiveness in his final seasons in the side, he always gave his all; which is something that cannot be said of every player.

Evra's time at United looked like coming to an end when Luke Shaw arrived from Southampton.  And yet there was talk of a shift in positions or the Frenchman acting as a mentor for the young England international.

But now it has been confirmed that the 33-year-old has moved for £1.5million.  And following the news we took to Twitter to see what United fans thought.
