Manchester United transfer news: Teen and £17m Blind linked; Di Maria twist

Angel Di Maria Argentina

A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United

Manchester United continue to be linked with Dutch international Daley Blind, with the Express following up on previous claims from Italy that Louis van Gaal wants to make the 24-year-old United’s third signing of the summer.

Blind can play in a variety of defensive positions, and the latest reports claim United could bid in the region of £17million for the Ajax player.

In other news, the Daily Star reports that United are one of three clubs monitoring West Ham United’s Reece Oxford.

The defender impressed for the Hammers' youth team last season and now United, along with Chelsea and Arsenal, have been linked with a move for the 15-year-old.

And finally, the Express reports that Paris Saint-Germain will attempt to take Real Madrid’s Angel Di Maria on loan next season, thus side-stepping FFP rules.

The Argentine has been heavily linked with a move to both Old Trafford and the French capital, but he would demand a substantial transfer fee.

And the latest report claims PSG will attempt to take him on loan for one season rather than forking out a fee likely to be in excess of £40million.

Is Blind a player United need to go all out for this summer?
