DJ and music producer Afrojack is invited to take a tour of Sledgehammer Studios to try out the new Call of Duty game.
If you were wondering who would be one of the first people outside of the development team to play Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, I’d be surprised if you’d said Afrojack. But that’s exactly who got a behind the scenes tour of Sledgehammer Games’ studio and had a chance to play the game. For those who don’t know - and I didn’t until I looked him up - Afrojack is a Dutch music producer and DJ.
The video shows Afrojack touch down in San Francisco and visit the studios, describing how he loved playing RPGs when he was younger. He spends a bit of time with the audio director for Advanced Warfare, listening to many of the sounds recorded for the game.
Afrojack also pulled off a 1.0 KDR (kill death ratio) against the developers, scoring 21 Kills - 21 Deaths. One other thing I noticed, which isn’t really anything to do with the game, but Afrojack is really tall… either that or everyone at Sledgehammer Studios is super short. Anyway, enjoy the vid.
Dutch music producing DJs visiting game development studios and trying out games before they’re released? Yeah, we’re just jealous.
