All the latest summer transfer news from Serie A...
Juventus have moved to calm fears since Antonio Conte's departure by snapping up Manchester United full back Patrice Evra and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, but the latter has already torn a ligament in his knee, which he sustained during his first training session with the club.
As a result, new manager Massimiliano Allegri may look to sign another striker - and it's a shock name being linked with the club. Liverpool's Fabio Borini is currently mulling over a move to Sunderland, where he spent last season on loan, but reports today suggest that Juve could offer him a return to his homeland Italy, where he starred with Roma in the 2011/12 season.
With arrivals now beginning to take priority in Turin, there should be some departures too as Juve make room for the new signings. One of the players who looks set to leave is Chilean international Mauricio Isla, who has struggled to nail down a place in the first team since his 2012 move from Udinese.
Southampton and Atletico Madrid have both been linked with the 26-year-old, but the belief now is that Newcastle United will make Isla their latest new signing, joining Daryl Janmaat, Remy Cabella, Siem de Jong and Emmanuel Riviere at St. James' Park.
Elsewhere, Napoli continue to be linked with a whole host of defensive midfield players. Liverpool's Lucas Leiva, Tottenham's Sandro and Atletico Madrid's Mario Suarez have all been suggested as potential targets for Rafael Benitez's side, but now they have their eyes on another Premier League midfielder.
Javi Garcia has been a bit-part player at Manchester City behind Yaya Toure and Fernandinho, and his hopes of first team football have been dealt another blow with the arrival of Fernando from Porto. Unlikely to feature much next season, Benitez is now reportedly looking to take his compatriot to Italy.
