Focussing on agent Jameson Locke, who is part of the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Halo: Nightfall will take place between the events of the Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians games. This will set up the story for Halo 5 before it’s released later in 2015.
Agent Jameson Locke will also appear in Halo 5: Guardians as a playable character, as revealed during 343 Industries’ San Diego Comic Con panel and on their blog. Locke was first shown in the trailer for Halo: The Master Chief Collection at E3 last month – he was the Spartan that was searching for Master Chief.
Halo: Nightfall will see Agent Locke and his team investigate an element which ‘selectively kills humans’ and uncover an artifact which will test their loyalty. Take a look at the trailer below.
Halo: Nightfall will come bundled with Halo: The Master Chief Collection which is due out on 11th November 2014 in the US, and 14th November 2014 in the UK.
Halo: Nightfall looks pretty good so far – are you excited for its release?
