AIK winger Nabil Bahoui is the latest player Everton are reportedly moving for with the 23-year-old Swedish international also drawing recent interest from Premier League rivals.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has stated that he’s looking to add three or four new faces to his squad and one of those is said to be AIK winger Nabil Bahoui.

Having impressed for the Swedish club since signing from IF Brommapojkarna in 2013, Bahoui has reportedly drawn interest from the likes of Sunderland, Southampton and Crystal Palace, but Everton are hopeful of winning the race to his signature.

Capped two times for Sweden after making his international debut earlier this year, the highly-rated 23-year-old is seen by the club as a potential replacement for Gerard Deulofeu as a tricky wide man, capable of filling a number of attacking roles.

Deulofeu and Romelu Lukaku may have returned to parent clubs Barcelona and Chelsea, respectively, after season-long loans, but the club have already sealed the signing of Manchester City’s Gareth Barry this summer on a permanent deal, following his excellent form at Goodison Park in 2013-14.

In addition, Bosnia and Herzegovina international Muhamed Besic also looks set for a £4 million move from Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros, after impressing for his side at the World Cup in Brazil.

At 21, the ex-Hamburg midfielder is yet another young and piece to add to squad, as they look to take on the tough task of improving upon the previous campaign’s fifth-place Premier League finish, while also competing in Europe.

With interest in Lazio’s 21-year-old Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi also reported, the next few weeks look set to be a busy period in the transfer market for Everton, and Martinez will be hoping that deals for the likes of Bahoui and others are not thwarted by their Premier League rivals.

Is Bahoui the type of player Martinez should be looking at?
