All the latest summer transfer news from Serie A...
Inter Milan have already been busy this summer, adding Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic, Roma left back Dodo, as well as Rubin Kazan's French international midfielder Yann M'Vila, but manager Walter Mazzarri is clearly in the hunt for a striker after Diego Milito moved back to Argentina with Racing Club de Avellaneda.
A number of forwards have been linked with the San Siro club, including Manchester City's Stevan Jovetic and Manchester United's Javier Hernandez, but this time it's a different Premier League striker wanted by the Nerrazurri. Tottenham's Roberto Soldado endured a tough first season after his £26m move from Valencia last summer, and after juts six Premier League goals, Spurs could look to sell the 29-year-old - and Inter are believed to be interested.
Staying at the San Siro - and with misfiring Spurs forwards - AC Milan are reportedly looking to boost their attack with the signing of Villarreal's Mexican international Giovani dos Santos. Now 25, dos Santos spent four seasons with Spurs, contributing just three goals and three assists before being sold to Real Mallorca in 2012.
Since then, the former Barcelona prodigy has rediscovered his best form, hitting 18 goals and 15 assists since leaving White Hart Lane. Now having impressed with Mexico at the World Cup too, Milan boss Pippo Inzaghi could look to add dos Santos to his attack having missed out on the signing of Verona's Juan Iturbe, who joined Roma instead.
Despite signing Iturbe, Roma are still looking to add more attacking players to their ranks. Rudi Garcia has the likes of Gervinho, Mattia Destro and of course, Francesco Totti at his disposal, but looks set to complete a deal for Monaco winger Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco.
The 20-year-old Belgian saw his appearances halved last season after Monaco spent big on a whole host of players, and according to reports today, Roma will tie up a €5m deal to bring him to the Italian capital.
