CONFIRMED: Spurs line-up to face Chicago - Lamela and Holtby start, Davies benched

Tottenham wrap up their tour of North America tonight with their game against Chicago Fire at Toyota Park.

Spurs starting eleven: Friedel; Walker, Dawson (c), Veljkovic, Rose; Holtby, Capoue, Mason, Townsend, Lamela; Kane

Subs: McGee, Fredericks, Naughton, Davies, Kaboul, Lennon, Eriksen, Ceballos, Falque, Soldado

Erik Lamela again starts after his outstanding opening half against Toronto, as does equally impressive German midfielder Lewis Holtby. New signing Ben Davies drops to the bench, and Harry Kane, who threw the first pitch in Chicago Cub's recent match is selected ahead of Roberto Soldado.

Mauricio Pochettino has managed to see plenty of the players that made the trip, with most of his squad managing to get at least a couple of halves football under their belt ahead of their return to Europe.

The likes of Lamela and Holtby would likely have impressed their new manager, and everyone will surely have the chance to catch the Argentine's eye once more as the Lilywhites take on Chicago's premier football club.

The Fire will probably be a different contest to the recent games with Seattle Sounders and Toronto FC, both of whom are doing well in their respective conferences, with tonight's opposition struggling down in 8th place of 10 teams in the Eastern Conference.

They do have current Spurs youngster Grant Ward at loan at the club, with the midfielder performing well in his 9 games in the Windy City.

As he has done in the two other games on the tour, Pochettino's starting line-up above will almost certainly be heavily changed via the substitute's bench as the game progresses.
