All the latest news, views and transfer rumours from the Emirates Stadium...

Just a day after Arsenal's move to sign Colombian international goalkeeper David Ospina was confirmed, the Gunners have made another signing in Southampton defender Calum Chambers. The right back arrives in North London for a fee in the region of £16m, and manager Arsene Wenger was delighted to land the 19-year-old.

"We are very pleased that Calum has agreed to join us," said Wenger. "The way he adapted to the Premier League last season with Southampton at a young age shows that he has tremendous quality. He has a lot of the attributes that we look for in a young player and I am sure that he will do well with us."

Chambers joins Ospina at the Emirates Stadium, with the Nice goalkeeper signing for the Gunners on Sunday. A star at the World Cup, Ospina arrives in a £3.2m deal as competition for first choice stopper Wojciech Szczesny, and the 25-year-old believes that, with the arrivals of other new signings Alexis Sanchez and Mathieu Debuchy, Arsenal can excel this season.

"I'm very confident. I believe we are putting together a brilliant squad, with top players," Ospina said. "Now we all have to be fit for the manager, and I'm confident things will go well, during games and training. [Alexis and Debuchy] are great players; they have both been doing very well at club and international level. It is great for Arsenal that players of this quality have joined the squad."

The arrival of both Debuchy and Chambers at right back means there will be changes to the defence, and it seems two right backs are set to leave the club. Hull City have reportedly agreed a £3m deal for Carl Jenkinson, whilst youngster Hector Bellerin will allegedly return to Spain to spend a year on loan with Real Zaragoza. The former Barcelona man is highly rated at the Emirates Stadium, but with two new faces in his position, Wenger clearly feels it's for the best that he continues his development in Spain.
