All the latest summer transfer news from League One...
The big story emanating from League One today surrounds the future of Sheffield United's England Under-21 international Harry Maguire. The highly-rated centre back has been a target for Hull City all summer, with Steve Bruce looking to strengthen his defence at the KC Stadium.
Negotiations have so far been fruitless, with the Tigers having two bids rejected by the Bramall Lane club. Yet this morning, the Blades released a statement saying they had reluctantly accepted a bid from Hull for their prized asset - only for the Premier League club to deny making another bid and that they had moved on to other targets. Confusion still surrounds the situation, though the belief is that Maguire will eventually become a Hull player sooner rather than later.
Elsewhere, Bristol City and Coventry City will both already feel that they've been in League One for too long, and will be looking to push for Championship football this season. It will be harder for Coventry given their financial restraints, which could limit then to loan signings.
That's certainly in mind with the latest rumours, which have linked both the Robins and the Sky Blues with loan moves for Arsenal defender Isaac Hayden. The 19-year-old centre back featured just once for the Gunners last season, and a temporary switch to League One could vastly help his development.
Finally, promoted Scunthorpe United continue to try and improve their squad ahead of the new season. Russ Wilcox's side will be looking to stay in League One this season, and have already added the likes of Neal Bishop, Lyle Taylor and Jennsion Myrie-Williams.
Now, with Rotherham strengthening in the Championship, the Iron have managed to land Millers centre back Myles Addison on a month-long loan deal, which will officially begin on August 8th - the opening day of the season.
