Shortly after Dejan Lovren was officially announced as a Liverpool player, his former Southampton teammate Luke Shaw took to Twitter to send him a congratulatory message.
The Croatian defender has become the latest player to leave St Mary's this summer, and the third to move to Anfield after Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana.
Having completed his own big-money move earlier this summer, Shaw sent a message on Twitter to Lovren, in which he said, "Congratulations mate, you deserve it! All the best. I will see you soon."
The players who took Southampton so far last season will soon be playing against each other for two of the Premier League's fiercest rivals.
And while the Saints now have even more money at their disposal following Lovren's £20million sale, new manager Ronald Koeman will have a tough task bringing in - and bedding in - the players who can ensure next season is not a tough one for one of last year's surprise packages.

What do you expect from Southampton next season given their summer sales?
