Juan Mata has laughed at the MUTV’s mishap during last night’s coverage of Manchester United’s game against Inter Milan.
The TV channel’s graphics went wrong as they showed United’s starting line-up for the fixture, with numerous players having the wrong face displayed above their name.
Mata, himself, was one of the United stars who had the wrong picture above their name – with Wayne Rooney’s photo displayed where his should have been.
Thankfully for the club’s official TV station, the Spaniard could see the funny side and he tweeted today to express his laughter at the error - drawing more unwanted attention to it.
In better news for the station they were at least able to broadcast a United victory.
Louis van Gaal’s side eventually won the friendly on a penalty shoot-out after the game finished 0-0 in normal time.
It was a chance for United fans to get a glimpse of new signings Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera in action, whilst Wilfried Zaha also made his first appearance of pre-season in the friendly.
United now move on to play Real Madrid in their last game in the USA on Saturday and MUTV will be hoping that they are able to correctly display the line-up this time around!
Who impressed you the most in United's match against Inter last night?
