Alexis Sanchez's Arsenal debut is nearing.

Arsenal's blockbuster summer signing Alexis Sanchez's debut is getting closer to reality, and the club are pulling out all the stops.

The Chilean international joined up with his teammates in midweek, and hopes to feature at the Emirates Cup this weekend, when the Gunners take on Monaco and Benfica.

Arsenal are all prepared for his first appearance, and have already placed up a banner in tribute to the former Barcelona star outside the stadium.

It's a small touch, but the sort which will help the South American feel at home, and appreciate his new surroundings and settle in at once.

There are high hopes for Sanchez, 25, from Arsenal fans and neutrals alike, and he will hope to repay the faith shown in him immediately. Goals at the Emirates Cup would see the hype surrounding his signature ramp up even further heading into the new season.

Are you confident Sanchez can hit the ground running for Arsenal?
