Far Cry 4 developers go mountain trekking in Nepal to experience the Himalayas firsthand.

In the second part in a series of developer diaries released by Ubisoft a team of devs travel deep into the heart of the beautiful Nepalese Himalayas to gain inspiration for the game.

In the video below you can see how the geographical setting has helped to shape the region of Kyrat in Far Cry 4, in turn influencing the gameplay. You can also see how preserved Nepali traditions, precarious mountain paths, the local wildlife and breathtaking scenery are being drawn from to give life to the game.

Far Cry 4 is coming to PC and consoles on 18th November in North America and 21st November in Europe.
