All the latest summer transfer news from La Liga...
Real Madrid have already completed two of the biggest deals of this transfer window, with Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos and Monaco playmaker James Rodriguez joining the club for a combined £80m. With Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas set to arrive too, manager Carlo Ancelotti has already been busy - and one more blockbuster deal could be on the way.
According to AS (via L'Equipe), Real are closing in on a deal to bring Colombian hitman Radamel Falcao back to the Spanish capital. The former Atletico Madrid striker was one of the deadliest striker in the world before his torn anterior cruciate ligament injury in January, but Monaco seem ready to sell the striker for big money if Real come calling.
Elsewhere, Tottenham have snapped up Sporting Lisbon defender Eric Dier, but manager Mauricio Pochettino still wants to bring in one more centre back to partner Jan Vertonghen in the heart of the Spurs defence, and Villarreal's Mateo Musacchio is the man at the top of the list.
Spurs have reportedly opened the bidding with a €15m offer, as Pochettino looks to bring his compatriot to White Hart Lane. However, Villarreal are believed to be holding out for over €20m for their star defender, with reports in Spain suggesting that an agreement could be moving closer.
Finally, the future of PSV Eindhoven winger Zakaria Bakkali continues to be shrouded in confusion. Liverpool have been closely pursuing the 18-year-old, but a deal with Atletico Madrid appears to drawing closer - but he wouldn't be playing for Diego Simeone's men this season.
Reports suggest that Atletico would be willing to loan the Belgian out to La Liga rivals Elche in order to get the youngster some experience - a slight comedown from Liverpool or Atletico.
