Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey was snapped on the training ground today smiling away with teammate Theo Walcott.
Locked with his arm around the England international and pointing at him in recognition of his appearance, Ramsey wrote on his Instagram account: “Great to have my pal @theowalcott back in the warm up today.”
It has been a long road back for Theo Walcott after the 25-year-old was ruled out of the second half of last season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered in the 2-0 FA Cup victory over North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in early January.
A poor run in February and March, however, left the North Londoners scrapping for fourth place with Everton come April, although a late surge saw them over the finishing line with a FA Cup victory to boot.
Despite having not made an official comeback match appearance to date during pre-season, Walcott has been in light training and it should not be long until he is back to full strength.
Following the signing of Chilean superstar Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal supporters can look forward to a devastatingly quick frontline next season as they bid to land their first Premier League title since 2004.
