Voice Actor in Dragon Age: Inquisition describes her role in the game

Dragon Age Inquisition Alix Wilton Regan Screen 1

Alix Wilton Regan is one of the voices of the Inquisitor in Bioware’s upcoming instalment to the Dragon Age series.

When you’re playing a Dragon Age game, well any Bioware game really, you know you’ve usually got many options of how you want your character to be. Human or Elf? Warrior or mage? Male or female? In this behind the scenes video we hear from one of the female voices of the Inquisitor, Alix Wilton Regan.

Alix describes how she focussed on strength in her tone and voice for her role as the Inquisitor, using a lower register to bring that forward - oh, and taking off her shoes. She also talks about how important it is that female protagonists appear in games, and that they’re portrayed as equally and strongly as men are. Take a look at the video below.

Alix has also done voice work for other games too, such as Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3, and Forza Horizon.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is due for release on 18th November in the US, and 21st November in Europe, for 2014 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
