Leeds United East Stand

David Kenny, cousin of Leeds United goalkeeper Paddy, posted a picture on Twitter asking the question: 'Our Paddy's new training kit. What do you think?' following the announcement he won't have a squad number for the upcoming season.

Paddy Kenny, who still has one year remaining on his current contract, was tweeted posing in a tampered training kit following the news that he would not have a squad number at Leeds United for the upcoming season.

The experienced goalkeeper, who was Leeds United's number one for large periods last season and started in the friendly against Glenavon, was exposed by his cousin, David Kenny, in training kit with electrical tape spelling out the letters 'N/A' which is an acronym for 'not applicable'.

Last month, there were reports that Leeds were unhappy with the state Paddy Kenny returned for pre-season training in, something the club later denied and there were also reports that Massimo Cellino wanted to get rid of him because he was born on the 17th, the Italian's unlucky number.

Regardless of the reason, Paddy Kenny's future at Leeds United with less than a week to go to the season opener looks bleak at best.

Marco Silvestre, who was on loan at Cagliari last season, has been handed the number 1 shirt whilst Stuart Taylor will wear 13, and young goalkeeper Alex Cairns will don the number 30 shirt after wearing 33 last season. The squad list indicates that Kenny will be, at best, fourth choice goalkeeper at Leeds United this season and will undoubtedly need to move in order to get first-team football.

What do you make of Kenny's situation at Leeds?
