Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is looking forward to the new Premier League season.

Sergio Aguero is back in England and is looking forward to the new season with Manchester City.

The 26-year-old striker has been on holiday following his 2014 World Cup campaign with Argentina in Brazil.

The former Atletico Madrid star is now back in Manchester and is determined on leading the Citizens to success in the Premier League in the 2014-15 season.

Aguero took to social networking site Twitter to post the following message on Monday:

Having joined City from Atletico for a transfer fee of £40 million in the summer of 2011, Aguero has established himself as one of the best and most important players for the Manchester outfit.

The former Independiente star has been key in the Citizens’ Premier League triumphs in 2012 and 2014, League Cup glory in 2014 and FA Community Shield success in 2012.

Aguero did not have the best of time in Brazil with Argentina and was largely underwhelming during his side’s progress to the final of the tournament.

However, the striker will still have gained confidence and having now recovered from his injuries that hampered him last season, he will be keen on kicking off the new campaign in style.
