Belgian international Kevin de Bruyne was back to action for Wolfsburg at the weekend, playing in a pre-season friendly against Cardiff City.
The midfielder was sold by Chelsea in January for £17 million, after failing to make an instant impact under Jose Mourinho.
He did just that at Wolfsburg, scoring three goals and providing six assists in 16 Bundesliga appearances.
At the weekend the 23-year-old showed he is ready to carry on that form and even progress to a new level, scoring a sensational goal in the 3-3 draw with Cardiff.
