Chelsea fans, have you seen this before?
Brazilian midfielder Ramires returned to training this week after his post-World Cup break, and wasted no time in getting into the thick of the action.
The all-action star got stuck in to proceedings, and was pictured by the club's photographers battling for the ball with new signing Cesc Fabregas.
It was the first time the two players have gone head-to-head since one of the club's finest moments, and individually Ramires's very best.
The Champions League semi-final in 2012 at the Nou Camp will live long in the memory of Chelsea fans, with the Ramires chip which turned the game in their favour a decisive factor, in emerging victorious against the odds after they had been reduced to 10 men.
Fabregas was part of the Barcelona side that night, and won a penalty which Lionel Messi crucially missed. He can be seen sparring on the night with Ramires below.
Having the duo in the same side is now a major coup for the Blues, and illustrates the strength of their midfield. With Nemanja Matic battling for a spot too, there is an incredible array of talent for Jose Mourinho to choose from, and that is not even counting the more dangerous attacking areas.
Ramires and Fabregas showed in training yesterday neither want to give a quarter in the battle for supremacy, even as teammates, and that sort of battling spirit will help Chelsea throughout the season in their quest for silverware.
How key will Ramires be this season? Will he gel with Fabregas?
