All the latest summer transfer news from Serie A...
Liverpool have been busy in the transfer market this summer as manager Brendan Rodgers looks to replace star striker Luis Suarez. He's already brought in Southampton duo Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana to help his attack, as well as Benfica winger Lazar Markovic, but he's looking to splash the cash again on another winger.
Lazio's Balde Keita Diao, 19, is a former Barcelona trainee before his 2011 move to the Stadio Olimpico, and the Senegalese born Spanish youngster impressed last season, scoring five goals in 23 games. Now, Liverpool have been looking to make him their latest young star, but Lazio have snubbed a £16m offer from the Reds - and they want £24m for Keita's services.
Elsewhere, the confusion over Napoli's move for Marouane Fellaini continues. Reports last week suggested that Rafael Benitez's side were closing on a deal with would see the Belgian leave Manchester United for Naples on a season-long loan, only for the move to stall this week.
With little progress being made, it appears that Benitez is looking to turn his attentions elsewhere, and speculation continues to grow surrounding a move for Spurs midfielder Sandro. The Brazilian has been out of favour for a while, and Benitez could see him as the ideal midfield solution after Swiss international Valon Behrami signed for Hamburg.
Finally, AC Milan look poised to add Udinese left back Pablo Armero on loan. The Colombian, who spent last season at Napoli, impressed at the World Cup and has reportedly agreed terms over a move from Udinese to the San Siro, with Milan desperately needing a left back.
He may not be the only player signing for Pippo Inzaghi's side though, as speculation today suggests that the club are looking to strike a deal to keep QPR loanee Adel Taarabt in Italy. £4m could be enough to land the Moroccan, who exceeded expectations last season.
