Chelsea summer signing Diego Costa scored a goal to remember before being on the receiving end of a two-footed hack by Bruno Alves.

Chelsea's trip to Turkey was supposed to involve two one-half matches competed within a friendly environment, however, there was nothing friendly about the manner in which Bruno Alves welcomed Diego Costa to the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium earlier this evening, Friday.

Chelsea took part in an evening of football, along with Fenerbahce and Besiktas, in order to raise money and awareness for the victims of the Soma mining disaster that occured in May.

During the game, Costa gave Chelsea fans a glimpse into what they can expect of him during the coming season as he finished off a passing move with a powerful run from 40-yards into the penalty area, before driving the football into the net with his right foot.

In the same game against Fener - just five minutes later and in a similar area - Alves went in with two feet and brought the Brazil-born Spaniard to the ground with a strong foul.

During the evening's festivities, Chelsea defeated Fenerbahce 2-0 but then lost to Besiktas by a 1-0 score in the second match.
