Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Manquillo, Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Gerrard, Can, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge
Jones, Kelly, Toure, Sakho, Coates, Enrique, Lucas, Allen, Suso, Ibe, Lambert.
Liverpool take on Borussia Dortmund today in their final pre-season friendly before the start of the new season, a new season without Luis Suarez.
Liverpool flogged their star-man to Barcelona this summer, after one controversy too many at Anfield, especially after he bit Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup in Brazil.
But they have spent the money on improving vast aspects of the club. The arrivals of Emre Can, Ricke Lambert, Adam Lallana, Lazar Markovic, Dejan Lovren and Javier Manquillo have been swift and determined buys from Brendan Rodgers. Liverpool are also believed to be in the market for Marco Reus, who has a very small possibility of featuring today for their German opponents.
Unfortunately for Liverpool there will be no Lallana or Markovic - bot newbies injured and set to miss the opening game of the season against Southampton as well.
But this is of course a huge test for the Liverpool team. Dortmund are a great outfit. They may have lost Robert Lewandowski to Bayern Munich this summer, but the arrival of Ciro Immobile has made up for that - while fellow new signings Ji Dong-Won, Adrian Ramos, Matthias Ginter and a former Liverpool loanee - Nuri Sahin - who has signed a permanent deal from Real Madrid.
Who will win this marquee friendly?
