Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare multiplayer shows much needed change

Activision and Sledgehammer Games’ showcase the fast-paced new multiplayer in the latest addition to the Call of Duty franchise.

Another year, another Call of Duty game, right? Well, you’d think that, but something is different this time around, as you’ll see in the new trailer below.

Now, some may call me controversial, but I like Call of Duty. Granted, the multiplayer has pretty much been the main part of it for most players for years now, and that’s as solid as ever, but I do feel it’s needed something to move it forward or just change it up a little. Well, from the look of the newest Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare trailer below, it appears we’re going to be getting just that.

Put aside the fact that the first-person view you have in the trailer is of someone that can dominate a match and dispatch their enemies with every tool in their arsenal, we’ve more interested in the wealth of new weapons, movement options, and customisation on offer. The movement here reminds me a little of Titanfall, with the verticality when using the rocket boost, and I hope it will bring new momentum to the series. Just take a look at the trailer and let us know what you think.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is due for release on 4th November 2014 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.
