FIFA agent claims Manchester United's €150m trio of targets will all be sold

Manchester United have been linked to Juan Cuadrado, Arturo Vidal and Mehdi Benatia.

Time is running out for Manchester United to make waves in the transfer market, an expectation created ever since their chief executive told fans to 'watch this space' three weeks ago.

Whether Ed Woodward is closer to actually closing any deals imminently is unclear, but United's suspected targets are narrowing down.

Three players the club are reported to be eyeing, are Fiorentina's Juan Cuadrado (€50m), Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal (€60m) and Roma defender Mehdi Benatia (40m).

All three Serie A based players are reported to be available at the right price, and open to moves - especially centre-back Benatia.

Italian football agent Claudio Pasqualin believes all three will land up moving before deadline day passes.

He told Italian television station RaiSport: "There are three important players in Italy: Vidal, Cuadrado and Benatar. In my view all three will leave.

Speaking specifically about Vidal he added: "With this attitude and reluctance to talk in certain situations, they put pressure on their clubs, not allowing them to plan well in the future and strategies."

Vidal has refused to come out to rebuff United's advances publicly, only making token gestures when quizzed by Juventus fans, which has all added to the speculation that he wants to leave.

Yet while United dither on a bid, Vidal himself is placed in an uncomfortable situation.

Pasqualin's comments indicate that United still have a chance to make the major statement Woodward had discussed, if they get their act together, for signing all three would dramatically alter their chances for the coming season, and shock the rest of the Premier League.

He is perhaps more confident that supporters of United that Vidal will land up being sold, having seen their hopes raised and dashed in similar situations in past summers.

At this stage however no United fans will be surprised if their transfer window peters out with a disappointing whimper, but if that is the case - Woodward will have big questions to answer.

What's more likely? United sign all three, or land up buying nobody?
