Risen 3 Titan Lords brightens up a dim week for Xbox game releases

Microsoft’s Xbox One has no new games due out this week, whilst the Xbox 360 will receive Risen 3: Titan Lords.

Update: Added date and link to Pinball FX2 release article

If you were a little disappointed by last week’s offerings in terms of new releases for Xbox One and Xbox 360, this week probably won’t be much different for you. The only solid release date due is for Deep Silver and Piranha BytesRisen 3: Titan Lords on 12th August in the US, and 15th August in the UK.

Risen 3 is the sequel to 2012’s Risen 2: Dark Waters, in which monsters, old gods, and voodoo exist in a Carribean pirate setting. Risen 3 however takes players back to the medieval setting of the first game. An action RPG, the game casts players as a young warrior whose soul has been taken – he must go on a journey to regain his soul whilst the darkness that took it is spreading over the world.

Have a look at the CGI trailer for the game below – it doesn’t do too much to tell you what’s going on, but it looks pretty.

We’ve kept Minecraft and Pinball FX2 on here as they’re slated for an August release, so if their official release dates are announced we’ll update this post.
