New Assassin’s Creed Unity Gamescom trailer is beautiful

Assassins Creed Unity Screen Cap 1

Ubisoft’s current gen offering of an Assassin’s Creed title is looking quite spectacular, as you’ll see in the latest trailer.

With the release of Assassin’s Creed Unity just over two months away, we’re sure we’ll be treated to more and more footage as it creeps closer to launch day. In the trailer below we shift from varying scenes of the Parisian streets, to cathedrals, opulent events, and eventually to more disturbing scenes of death and chaos.

Arno is shown doing his free-running thing, moving from street, to rooftop, to inner building, and the rather large crowds are glimpsed at too. We end with a scene of Arno in front of what appears to be some kind of Assassin Brotherhood council. Check it out below.

The YouTube description of the trailer reads:

‘In Assassin’s Creed Unity all of Paris is your playground. From the skyward reaching spires of Notre Dame to the to the tunnels and slums inhabited by the city’s less fortunate you can run, climb, and leap from nearly any surface. Follow Arno as he traverses the rooftops, streets, and back alleys of French Revolution era Paris all brought to life in breathtakingly intricate detail made possible by the next gen Anvil engine.’

Assassin's Creed Unity is due for release on 28th October 2014 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
