An open world game that lets you play as humans and any of the creatures in the world.
Michel Ancel of Ubisoft is working with his new studio, Wild Sheep Studios, to bring WiLD exclusively to PS4. During the Sony press conference at Gamescom yesterday, Ancel talked about how he’d helped set up the new studio, and that they wanted to make ‘a very specific type of game’ where you ‘experience new situations each time you play’. Ancel created the Rayman series and also directed Beyond Good and Evil.
WiLD is set in an open world as big as Europe, with ‘dynamic weather and seasons’, and a ‘very special feature’ that allows you to play as humans and also ‘any living creature’ in the game.
Take a look at the trailer below – the game looks gorgeous. It shows off the expansive location, hunting, wildlife, varying weather, and a skeleton wearing a feather headband.
As stated in the description of the trailer;
WiLD is exclusive to PS4 with no release date set.
WiLD looks… WILD! Sorry, but it does! You should let us know what you think!
