Hugo Lloris has revealed that he struggles to save Christian Eriksen’s shots in Tottenham Hotspur training.

The French goalkeeper, who has become a fan favourite at White Hart Lane, took part in a question and answer session on the club’s official Facebook page today, and said that Eriksen’s shooting style is the one he has the most problems dealing with.

When asked whose shot at the club was the trickiest to save, he said: “Eriksen. You cannot read his shot.”

The Danish international made a big impression during his first season at Tottenham and there's hope that he can kick on again this campaign.

Eriksen was bought from Ajax last summer when Spurs signed an influx of big-name players from across Europe, but he was the only one to make a positive impact on the first team during his maiden year in English football.

The 22-year-old has become the creative fulcrum of the Spurs side, but has also shown his goalscoring threat, netting seven times in 25 appearances last year.

That tally is set to improve this year, with Eriksen likely to thrive under new manager Mauricio Pochettino’s high-tempo, short passing game.

He will be key for the side and if a goalkeeper of Lloris’s quality is struggling to deal with his shots, after seeing them every day in training, then the rest of the Premier League’s shot-stoppers will be fearful of facing the attacking midfielder this upcoming season.

Lloris also revealed that Emmanuel Adebayor and Sandro are the two funniest players at the club in the question and answer session, and said that he became a goalkeeper as he wanted to play a decisive role for his team.

Can Eriksen reach double figures for goals this season?
