We have become so accustomed to seeing Frank Lampard in the blue of Chelsea that seeing him in another club's shirt seems very wrong. However first pictures have appeared of the 36-year-old wearing Manchester City's new home shirt and he looks happy to be at the club.
Lampard spent 13 years at Stamford Bridge and he will be a Manchester City player until at least March. His addition will help City with regards to their quota of British players, and to bring in a match-winner with his ability could turn out to be a shrewd move by Manuel Pellegrini.
It may be an unpleasant sight for Chelsea fans but they will have to get used to one of their all-time greats now playing for their title rivals. There will be similar feelings from Arsenal fans who have to see Cesc Fabregas in a Chelsea shirt on a regular basis.
How much of an impact will Lampard have for Manchester City?
