All the latest summer transfer news from La Liga...
Real Madrid have made three big moves this summer by bringing in Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos, Monaco playmaker and Levante goalkeeper Keylor Navas, but now sales must be made to balance the books at the Bernabeu, despite the departures of Diego Lopez and Alvaro Morata.
The primary candidate to leave the club is midfielder Sami Khedira, who seems to have been pushed down the pecking order after the arrival of international team mate Kroos. It's now believed that, in a bid to generate interest from Arsenal again, Real have slashed the asking price on Khedira's head - down to just €25m (£20m).
At Barcelona, the club have already parted ways with the likes of Victor Valdes, Cesc Fabregas, Cristian Tello, Alexis Sanchez and Bojan, but another player has been linked with an exit from the Camp Nou - Dani Alves. The right back has been tipped to leave as new manager Luis Enrique pursues Fiorentina's Juan Cuadrado. However, the player's agent says the Brazilian won't be leaving.
"Dani will stay in Barcelona," Dinorah Santa Ana said.
Speculation on Friday suggested that Atletico Madrid were closing in on a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Marco Reus, and given how unrealistic it seems that they would snap up the German, Diego Simeone's side have once again been linked with a move for Torino star Alessio Cerci, with a €16m bid believed to be on the table.
It's over a week since Tottenham were linked with a move to sign Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio, but a deal appears to have stalled over the fee involved to sign the Argentine. Now, manager Marcelino thinks that Musacchio will stay at the club, with not long until the transfer deadline.
"I, like everyone else at the club, hope Mateo stays," said Marcelino. "I see him closer to staying than leaving. But I can’t say that with 100% certainty."
