Former Arsenal and Chelsea defender Ashley Cole may have left for Italy, but he still seems to be keen on watching the Premier League.
The 33-year-old left-back joined AS Roma last month on a free transfer, after he was released by Chelsea at the end of last season.
Cole had been on the books of Chelsea since 2006 and was a key figure in the Blues’ Premier League, FA Cup, Europa League and Champions League success in the last eight years.
Prior to his move to Chelsea in the summer of 2006, the former England international played for Arsenal, helping the Gunners to two league titles and three FA Cups.
Having played his entire career in England, Cole now finds it ‘weird’ that he is not a part of the Premier League, but he was still following Saturday’s action on his laptop.
Today was a weird feeling watching the #PremierLeague on my laptop and not being a part of it, who do u think well be champions in May?— Ashley Cole (@TheRealAC3) August 16, 2014
It was a very interesting day in the Premier League on Saturday, as Manchester United lost 2-1 to Swansea City at Old Trafford and fellow title-challengers Arsenal just about managed to pick up all three points against Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium (click here to read more).
Is Ashley Cole’s absence a loss for the Premier League?
