A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly make a third bid for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin in the coming days, despite the Saints refusal to sanction a move.

That is the claim of the Sunday Mirror, which adds that Arsenal may also offer late competition for the Frenchman.

The report suggests that if the Gunners are unsuccessful in their pursuit of Sami Khedira, they could turn to the Tottenham target.

In other news, that old rumour mill favourite Fredy Guarin is back in the headlines again.

This time the Daily Star has picked up on reports from Italy, which claim Tottenham could sign the Colombian for just £10million…if Roberto Soldado is included in a swap-deal.

Considering Inter Milan are said to rate Guarin at £14million outright, the latest reports are a huge indictment on Soldado’s debut campaign at White Hart Lane, seemingly valuing him at just £4million.

In short, this is one rumour that we cannot see becoming a reality.
