A round up of transfer stories this morning about Chelsea.

Chelsea have reportedly submitted an offer of around £35 million for William Carvalho.

The Sporting Lisbon midfielder has been linked with a Premier League move for much of the summer with the Blues, Arsenal and Manchester United all connected to him.

Chelsea appear to be leading the race to get him if reports of their offer are accurate.

Andre Schurrle has dismissed speculation linking him with a move away from the club.

Spanish champions Atletico Madrid have recently been linked with making a move for the World Cup winning German.

“No, I am not going anywhere. I am very happy at Chelsea. This is where I want to play and this is where I want to play for the fans,” said the attacker.

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is set to be rewarded with a five-year deal.

The new contract will reportedly be worth around £90,000 per week and will tie the Belgian down for the foreseeable future.

Courtois made his Premier League debut for Chelsea in the 3-1 win at Burnley earlier this week.
