Manchester United’s deal for Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo is dependant on personal terms being agreed and a medical being passed.

A deal was announced late yesterday over an agreement between the two clubs, which sees Nani heading in the opposite direction.

“Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached an agreement with Sporting Lisbon to sign defender Marcos Rojo, subject to a medical and agreeing personal terms,” said a statement from the club.

Manchester United reportedly lead the race to sign 15-year-old Martin Odegaard ahead of Bayern Munich.

The teenager has been dubbed the ‘next Lionel Messi’ by various sections of the media with United’s scouting network identifying him as a possible addition.

He’s poised to make history as the youngest ever player to feature for the Norwegian national team.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly back in the race to sign Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid.
