'Last warning!' - Soldado and Townsend resume friendly feud on Twitter

Christian Eriksen and Roberto Soldado kicking off for Tottenham

The Tottenham Hotspur stars have brought back a joke that started after their friendly against Schalke 04.

Roberto Soldado has given Tottenham team-mate Andros Townsend his 'last warning' on Twitter.

But the Spaniard is only joking, of course, continuing a friendly feud that started after Spurs' 2-1 win over Schalke 04.

In the aftermatch of the match, Soldado joked that he will 'fight' the England winger after Townsend slapped him during their goal celebrations.

And now the pair have resumed their little argument, with Soldado giving the 23-year-old a 'last warning.'

Townsend's response was a reminder of a 'headlock' he got the Spaniard in during a goal celebration last season.

Soldado was not involved in Tottenham's 1-0 win over West Ham at the weekend, where Townsend came on as a 61st-minute substitute.

The striker could see action tomorrow, however, as Spurs travel to Cyprus to face Limassol in Europa League qualifying.

Mauricio Pochettino's side will then host Queens Park Rangers on Sunday, when former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp visits White Hart Lane in the Premier League.

Redknapp reportedly had a bid for Townsend rejected earlier this summer.

How important will Soldado & Townsend be for Spurs this term?
