VIDEO: Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho takes the ice bucket challenge

Mourinho Press Conference Still

The 'Special One' has become the first Premier League coach, alongside West Ham's Sam Allardyce, to take the charity challenge.

It's official: the ALS ice bucket challenge has now made its way toward Premier League managers.

West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has taken part in the social media craze, while Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has also agreed to have ice thrown on him.

Mourinho was nominated by Blues legend Didier Drogba and Lebo Mohuba and has, in return, nominated his daughter Matilde and friends Bryan Adams and James McAvoy.

A scream of anguish was let out by the 52-year-old after he took part, something that might please those Manchester United and Arsenal fans he may have ticked off over the years.

Drogba himself and Chelsea captain John Terry were among those members of the Blues squad to have undertaken the challenge, which is designed to raise awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as motor neurone disease.)

Mourinho, Drogba and co. host Leicester City on Saturday afternoon in their first Premier League clash of the season.

The west London side beat Burnley 3-1 at Turf Moor on Monday night and will welcome newly-promoted Leicester, who drew 2-2 with Everton, to Stamford Bridge.

Now time to wait and see which other Premier League bosses agree to have ice thrown over their heads...
