inXile Entertainment's post-apocalyptic RPG has finally got a release date.
The first official sequel to 1988's Wasteland, Wasteland 2, was successfully funded on Kickstarter back in 2012, and the initial release date of October 2013 was postponed.
But in a tweet from director Brian Fargo this week, he revealed that the release date for the game will be 19th September.
Official Wasteland 2 release date... September 19th! The 20+ year wait is soon over.— Brian Fargo (@BrianFargo) August 19, 2014
The Kickstarter campaign surpassed it's intial $900,000 funding goal and reached just under $3 million.
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world where you control a party of up to seven characters, and roam the desolate wastes with a top-down view. Wasteland 2 uses turn-based tactical combat and you can fully customise your characters.
The sequel to Wasteland arrives next month. Did you invest on Kickstarter back in 2012?
