Javier Manquillo has already made an impression at Liverpool, and now he hopes that his twin brother, Victor, can do the same at AD Alcorcon B.
The 20-year-old forward has left Rayo Vallecano B to join the B team of Alcorcon, who will feature in the Spanish Tercera Division this season.
Congratulating his brother on the switch, Javier, who joined Liverpool on a two-year loan deal from Atletico Madrid earlier this month, wrote on social networking site Twitter: ‘From Liverpool, wish you all the luck in the world my brother @VictorManquillo in your next phase with @AD_Alcorcon’.
Javier himself is on a new adventure with Liverpool, and so far everything has been good for the Spaniard.
The youngster made his competitive debut for the Reds against Southampton at Anfield on Sunday and gave a strong performance at right-back.
Javier was a key player in Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over the Saints that saw them kick off their 2014-15 Premier League campaign on a winning note.

Of course, it was just one game and Javier has a lot to learn, but he does seem to have taken to Premier League football pretty well.
Will Javier Manquillo’s brother be as successful as him?
