Southampton and West Bromwich Albion are both looking for their first wins of the season as they lock horns on the South Coast today.
Ronald Koeman didn't get off to the best of starts as Saints manager after replacing Mauricio Pochettino this summer, losing 2-1 to Liverpool at Anfield following a late winner from Reds striker Daniel Sturridge. His team did play fairly well though, and will be looking to turn that positive display into a win today.
This is the first time many Saints fans will have seen new signings Fraser Forster, Ryan Bertrand, Dusan Tadic and Graziano Pelle playing, whilst the likes of Florin Gardos, Saphir Taider and former Baggies striker Shane Long could make an impact from the bench.
Their opposition today are West Brom, who are looking to develop a number of young player under new manager Alan Irvine, who was surprisingly appointed as Pepe Mel's replacement despite struggling at Preston and Sheffield Wednesday.
There is no place in the squad for new signing Giorgios Samaras, but the display of Saido Berahino in the 2-2 draw with Sunderland last week should give the Baggies an extra goalscoring threat that they lacked in the second half of last season.
