Chilean superstar Alexis Sanchez has had a quiet start to life at Arsenal following his big-money move from La Liga giants Barcelona.
Much has been expected of the former Barca star due to his impressive displays at this summer’s World Cup but his performances have so far been subdued.
“I wouldn't like to go into any individual assessment. At the moment he is not completely ready physically but I don't worry about him. At the moment he knows that he's not at his best physically and once he's at his best physically, the confidence will come back. It's all linked together. It's always difficult to know why the confidence is not at his best. I believe it's mainly physical.” He said, quoted by the official Arsenal website.
The 25-year-old forward has helped the North Londoners pick up four points from two games, and during those matches Alexis has made a total of five key passes and set up Laurent Koscielny’s equaliser during the opening day 2-1 victory over Palace.

As per the table, however, it clearly shows that the Chilean has struggled to influence games in the final third. He has only had one shot on target and completed four successful dribbles – typical numbers he used to complete every 45 minutes at the Nou Camp.
One area which will please Wenger is Sanchez’s ability to win the ball back as shown by his eight ball recoveries.
While he may not be firing on all cylinders going forward, his eagerness and intentions to get involved can’t be faulted and it’s surely only a matter of time before he opens up his Arsenal account with a bang.
