Memphis Depay bagged the equaliser in a 3-1 win against Ajax for PSV Eindhoven.
In England we have Manchester United v Liverpool, in Spain Real Madrid v Barcelona and in Holland ... Ajax v PSV Eindhoven.
They took each other on at the Amsterdam ArenA today in what was a true game of two halves, in which a former Tottenham target celebrated his recent new deal with a tap-in.
Ajax dominated the first half. They caressed the ball around the field in their traditional style and were 1-0 up when talented winger Anwar El Ghazi gave them the lead.
But the second half saw PSV Eindhoven run rampant. Goals from Luciano Narsingh and Florian Jozefzoon won them the game, but it was Memphis Depay who pulled them level in the 52nd minute.
The Dutch international has been strongly linked with a £15 million move to Tottenham this summer but this week ended those rumours by putting pen to paper on a brand new contract keeping him at the club until 2018.
And what a way to celebrate, with a goal in perhaps the biggest game of the season. PSV Eindhoven are top of the Eredivisie table after winning their opening three games of the season.
Are Spurs unlucky to miss out on Depay?
